Our Wild Dagga is Oganically grown and havested here at Highwinds Farm kept in the greenhouse until June then planted and picked in Sept or Oct when the flowers are blooming.
Leonotis leonurus (Wild Dagga, Lion's Tail) species is also used in Eastern medicine as euphoriant, purgative, and vermifuge.
Leonotis leonurus Commonly called Lion's Tail because of the Lion's-tail-looking blossoms that grow from the ends of the plant.
In traditional African medicine Leonotis has been widely used as a part of many different treatments. It is also used in case of a snake bite and as a charm to keep snakes away.
